Hi, Olga and “Welcome” to Famost magazine! Where did you get your love for fashion? Were you attracted to it as a child?
Hi, Thanks a lot for this great opportunity, happy to be in touch with you and Famost readers.
I believe that everything comes from childhood, and I was growing in love with my grandparents. They had an enormous roses garden, a big library, and my grand grandmother created clothes for all families. So, I was in touch with the fabrics, buttons, old fashion magazines, and beauty since I remember myself. That gave me a feeling that everything you see, feel, and touch should be beautiful or at least in harmony. For me, it means that I have a deep connection to fashion and art naturally.
Did someone instill in you a love for fashion or did it come naturally from within?
I think. Naturally, I liked to draw sketches, create clothes for my dolls, and watch old Hollywood and Bollywood movies. I just had it. My mom could leave me alone for hours. I had fun with myself.
How did you nurture your love for fashion from the moment you realized you wanted to do something in fashion industry?
I love to learn new things, and as a teenager, I attended tailoring school, fashion illustration classes, fashion journalist classes, and many more. Of course, a lot of practice with private clients and work on myself every single day. I can not teach or recommend smth that is not my routine or own way.
Tell us about yourself. What’s the story of Olga Shevtsova ? You were born in Ukraine and live in Romania. How did you get here?
I am Ukrainian, and Kyiv gave me so much knowledge. My friends and parents are in Kyiv. But my own family is in Romania now. So, the decision to move here was very natural. Oh, trust me to live between two countries is not the best idea for me as I have many clothes, books and everything that makes me happier. So I was thrilled to have my home and stuff in one place.
Olga Shevtsova studied fashion in Kiev but also in England. Tell us about them, what they did well in your life and how they influenced your career.

When you want to become the best stylist, like in my case. STYLIST. PERSONAL STYLIST, you want to let people know that you have an education, people can trust you and follow you. But this field, frankly to say, is not super popular. We don’t have the right course. I am not talking about the fashion stylist, luxury segment. I am talking about the person who helps other people improve their style, increase life level, find love, become more feminine, or improve the family’s relationship between two people. I allow people to remember who they are, build their image, make them confident, and love themselves through the clothes. This is between psychology, and I am not a therapist. I just know some tools that usually help a lot, and this is fashion, habits, and self-love. We don’t have good courses yet, in my opinion. Every blogger or influencer open their schools and share a fundamental knowledge that everyone who can read and use Google can easily find the information.
We live in this reality. When I decided to go deeper and get some basic knowledge and trampoline to become professional, I began to monitor. I found the 3ColorsRule fashion academy in the UK. I wanted to get that knowledge an English and have support and mentor. I received it. Other schools just increased my practice, expert my determination, provide a strong community, and helped me see what is going on. See what is the tendency in this field now. And I believe only in approach, practice, hard-working, real cases, and real clients who can honestly say what is right and wrong, especially when you are in the beginning. Listen what people say. They are your clients.
On the personal website olgashevtsova.com you present yourself as a personal stylist and image maker. What do these mean for you?
I think that I answered a little on this question above. For me, this is a chance to help people around me to become a better version. If there is any reason and you can’t start today from your inner. Start from your image, and vice versa. If you already started to work with your thoughts, habits, and patterns, early or late, you will begin to think about your image, style, and what to wear. I help people to live their life. They can delegate me some things, such as shopping, stylization, and reminding them how to contact inner peace. This is a journey, and only those who are ready – come to me. With me, you have more time for yourself, family, your hobby; you have time for the routine that you love. Everything related to clothes and your image – on me.
What do you do concretely as a personal stylist and image maker? Who can use your services and how you can help them?
As a personal stylist, I provide consultation on style & image. This is an essential service when the client and I can talk, and I share some quick tips that can quickly improve her/his style. My second basic service: wardrobe review; I clean the wardrobe, select outdated clothes; if we have time and enough clothes, I create outfits, new combinations, and take the client’s photo. The client starts to wear clothes in a new way to follow my recommendations, also I make a shopping list. During the lockdown, I began to create a capsule for clients. This is an online service, something like online shopping but based on my guidance. This service is very popular with all who worked with me before. I already know her/his behavior and parameters, preferences, and just create new multifunctional outfits. Shopping offline is still popular, and I always happy to work with clients in real-time.
