With „Fashion Frames Works 2018„, the fashion by Accademia Altieri Moda returns to AltaRoma. The fashion show was conducted by the journalist and presenter Rai Valeria Oppenheimer and brought on the runway, at the Cinecitta Studios, the creations made by the students of the three grades of the Accademia Altieri. A jury of fashion experts, chaired by the stylist Giada Curti, has decreed the young Valerio Cerri, winner of the „Fashion Aword Altieri 2018„.
The collections of the neo-stylists of the third year have been distinguished by hand-made embroideries with three-dimensional effects, pleated work and special sartorial cuts. A heterogeneous mix of fabrics, leathers and furs that reinforce the lines to soften delicately with evening dresses. The students of the first year worked instead with the transparency of plastic and jute, both enriched with embroidery, trimmings, cords, tassels and colored beads. Always the lightness, but mixed with geometric rigor, was the mood of the students of the second year who were inspired by the great Gianfranco Ferre and his unforgettable shirts. On stage majestic dresses made of white organza, large volumes and soft lines, accurate tailoring cuts combined with the rigor of the Prince of Wales.
Also noteworthy is the national debut of the „Priscilla IO” brand, founded by the emerging young designer Priscilla Ionta, winner of the „Fashion Aword Altieri 2017” edition. His collection is a tribute to the Earth and to the wonders starting with the choice of fabrics that, albeit in contrast with each other, manage to create a unique atmosphere.
