Pitti Bimbo 85, on stage in Florence from 22 to 24 June 2017, closes with the presence of 10,000 visitors, including 5,300 buyers. Foreign buyers are slightly increasing: Russia (+ 9%), China (+ 37%), Holland (+ 30%), Ukraine (+ 23%), followed by Belgium, Austria, Brazil, Portugal and the countries in the region Middle-Eastern. Italian attendance is on the down side.
Pitti Blooms’s theme for the male edition is the Pitti Bimbo 85 not only in the outfits but also in the collections. In Fortezza da Basso special guest is Dolce & Gabbana who in the gravel courtyard creates a real flower market, with many figures from Domenico and Stefano. Corsini‘s colorful garden becomes the Monnalisa fashion show set for spring 2018 with the historic backdrop of Buontalenti’s loggia, covered for the occasion by flower beds. Roses from romantic allure, flying, jungle fever inspirations, also for moms with the new line Maxi You. Following cocktails and music in the limes of Limonaia.
The Pitti Bimbo 85 also marks the launch of the Emilio Pucci junior summer 2018 spring collection, made in partnership with Simonetta. An exclusive event organized at Palazzo Pucci, where the representative garments were exhibited in a set of animals made with prints by Emilio Pucci. Colorful silhouettes of giraffes, hippos and elephants have been the cornerstone of a fresh and cheerful wardrobe dedicated to girls and babies.
The Florentine brand Roberto Cavalli Junior, formerly licensed to Simonetta, is relaunched with a collection developed internally and distributed by the property owned by the private equity fund Clessidra. Floral prints and graphic designs of the animal world reveal the entire collection Roberto Cavalli Junior Spring / Summer 2018 presented to buyers and prints during an event at the Serre Torrigiani.
After the success of the first collaboration, the brand denim kidswear Vingino and Dutch celebrity stylist Danie Bles renew their creative synergy for the third BYDANIE x VINGINO collection, a special capsule for girls.
